Digital Subscriber Line service is a packet-based technology for providing a means of broad bandwidth access to the Internet, Frame Relay or ATM Networks over ordinary copper telephone lines. DSL is a mileage sensitive technology. This means that xDSL is typically more efficient the closer your company's location is to the serving Central Office.

Continuous connections ability without having to dial. This continuous connection enables such services such as informing users when e-mail arrives. (Please note: Dedicated Tier 1 is a better choice for mission critical web hosting, VPN's, and e-mail server applications).

Low Cost
Allows your company to purchase faster broad band Internet access for considerably less cost than a Tier 1 Dedicated Internet access circuit or a Tier 2 Shared Internet access circuit. Please note that XDSL typically has no SLA (Service Level Agreement) with this type of access to the Internet. No SLA means that there are no guarantees on the speed of access to the Internet.

Typical installations are under 30 days and most often only require a plug and play DSL router to be installed at the customer s premise.
